Tena Koutou Katoa,
Welcome to Nawton School.
This is a quite unique school in Hamilton as it offers
mainstream (English), bilingual and total immersion Maori.
There are 23 classrooms, 15 for mainstream, 6 for total immersion and 2 bilingual rooms.
We believe in developing the whole child, beginning with a sound grounding in literacy and numeracy.
It is a place where all cultures and ethnicities are valued creating a positive learning environment for all.
We are a school that endeavours to work in partnership with parents and caregivers to provide the best learning
opportunities for all.
I hope that this site gives you a taste of what Nawton has to offer students.
