Cultural
The school values diversity and provides many excellent experiences.
A large school choir meets weekly and participates in community and school events.
A strong Kapa Haka group practices weekly to prepare the children to participate
in Waikato, Hauraki and national competitions.
There is also a skilled Nawton Nesians cultural group who practice weekly to perform
in the school and the community.
All children learn how to participate in Powhiri where new students, overseas visitors, and new staff
are welcomed to Nawton School.
The Rumaki and Bilingual classes meet regularly in the Hall for karakia and to learn waiata and haka.
