Welcome to Nawton School.
This is a quite unique school in Hamilton as it offers mainstream (English), bilingual and total immersion Maori.
There are 21 classrooms, 11 for mainstream, 6 for total immersion, 3 bilingual rooms and 1 specialist music class.
We believe in developing the whole child, beginning with a sound grounding in literacy and numeracy.
Nawton is a place where all cultures and ethnicities are valued creating a positive learning environment.
We are a school that endeavours to work in partnership with parents and caregivers to provide the best learning opportunities for all.
