Kai ora, Welcome to Room 2 We have had an exciting start to 2012 and are looking forward to another term of learning. On Tuesday Room 2 has Whaea Sandra. Tuesday is also Library day. Our theme throughout the School this term is 'Taonga' and our class will be looking at things that are special to us. We are going to celebrate our Grandparents and will be dedicating a day later in the term just for them to visit. In Maths we are looking at shapes and patterns. For art we are going to focus on weaving. We ar lucky to have Kelly Sports again this term, where they are going to focus on ball skills. Homework books went home early this year, each day your child should bring them back to school, so I can update their reading log and add their spelling words. Reading books should come home each day. We are happy for you to visit, our door is always open (unless the airconditioner is on).
